Welcome to the Worcester Business Association. We are an association made up of local businesses. Our aim is to promote all local companies in the Worcester area to help each other grow organically. We provide support to many of our business partners in Worcester in many different ways. These includes help and advice on items such as marketing and sales. History of Worcester
During the 1950s and 1960s enormous zones of the middle age focus of Worcester were destroyed and remade because of choices by town organisers. This was denounced by numerous, for example, Pevsner who depicted it as a "absolutely inconceivable demonstration of self-mutilation". There is as yet a critical territory of archaic Worcester remaining, instances of which can be seen along City Walls Road, Friar Street and New Street, however it is a little portion of what was available before the redevelopments.
Things to do in Worcester
Gheluvelt Park is a public park in Worcester, England, which opened on 17 June 1922 to recognise the Worcestershire Regiment's second Battalion after their part in Battle of Gheluvelt, a World War I fight that occurred on 31 October 1914 in Gheluvelt, Belgium. It was opened by Field Marshal John French, first Earl of Ypres, who expressed, "on that day the second Worcesters spared the British Empire." A plaque inside the recreation centre remembers Captain Gerald Ernest Lea, who passed on 15 September 1914 while instructing D. Organization of the second Battalion. The recreation centre is situated in Worcester, along the A449 and stretches across to the River Severn.
